Bosome-Freho Rural Bank Limited is the name registered with the Register General’s Department of Ghana under the Companies Code, 1963 (Act 179) for and on behalf of Bosome-Freho Constituency by Hon. Dr. Edward Nana Yaw Ofori-Kuragu.
Hon. Dr. Edward Nana Yaw Ofori-Kuragu, the Member of Parliament for Bosome-Freho Constituency (2004-2012) realized that a rural Bank established in the constituency when at full operations would serve as a catalyst for the transformation of the constituency from obscurity and desperation into the mainstream of rapid socio-economic developments taking place elsewhere in Ghana.
Bosome-Freho Rural Bank Limited was incorporated in Ghana on the 7th day of April 2005, and it was authorized to carry on the business of banking under the Banking Act 2004 (Act 674) on the 29th day of July 2009.
The bank has since that time opened seven branches apart from the Head Office at Nsuaem No. 2. The branches are Nsuaem, Asiwa, Morontuo, Asafo, Bodwesango, Adehyeman and Old-Tafo
